For the design of sailboats, the kow how of FEMstrutture, in the shape of its owner, Fernando Pastore, is also enhanced by the many past years within the technical office of Wally Yachts as a structural engineer and then later as a consultant ( just as FEMstrutture).
It was therefore dealt with the sailboat design, and in particular structural design and engineering of boats like:
- K2 Wind (ex Vae Victis and before Carrera) and in particular the first complete project of the lifting keel Wally.
- And then Barong,
- Tuamata,
- Dark Shadow,
|
|
- Kauris III,
- Aori, etc..
- until the last Wally 143 Esense of which, however, we have only defined the structural engineering of the deck.
But as well as monohulls, FEMstrutture also operates on multihulls as the last catamaran of the Tahitian Studio NG Yacht Design. A 50 'which we defined the complete structural verification.
For the most part these are boats designed and produced with the most advanced technologies.
In fact, especially as a matter of performance, we have made extensive use of composite materials "noble" as prepreg of aramid fiber and carbon fiber in a sandwich construction with core in honeycomb.
For the design of optimum stratification have used FEM analysis on both models of the boats complete than on component for the verification of particular stresses.
